The newly updated POPI Act Online Course 2021/2022 will inform you about what is required to become compliant with the Act by covering the following topics:

- Processing of personal information
- Using personal information
- Security, retention and deletion of personal information
- Enforcement of compliance with the POPI Act
- Ensuring compliance
After working through each module, you will complete an interactive quiz so you can continually assess your level of understanding as you progress through the course. Once you have worked through the course, you will receive a certificate confirming that training has been completed.
We estimate that the course should take two and a half hours to complete. You will, however, have access to the course for 30 days, and during this time you will be able to review and work through the content as many times as you like.
All individuals who use the personal information of others in a processing activity can benefit from completing this course.
